Why should I have my portrait taken by Amy Rader?

Amy has been capturing the essence of her clients relaxed in front of her camera for the past 23 years. So many of her clients come to her repeatedly or through referrals. She takes a limited number of sessions during the season due to the highly personalized nature of her work. Please call the studio to schedule your session as she books on a first called basis.

What can I expect to spend?

It all depends on the size of your family. Small families with a few children will spend anywhere from $500-$1200. Larger family reunions tend to spend more. Options to consider are sizes, finishes, framing and gifting. There are no packages. You get what you want. Session fees and portrait pricing can be viewed by clicking here.

How do I secure a session?

Call the studio (508) 540-2112.The session fee is secured with a credit card in advance when you schedule your appointment. The cost of the session depends on how many generations are in your portrait. It reserves your time exclusively.

How do I view and order my portraits after our session?

Portraits are projected large at the studio. This is when you will place your order. You'll see detail, cropping and black & white. It is important for all those involved in the decision making process to be at the projection appointment. The value of your portrait requires your time. Allow at least an hour or more to make your selections. Your portraits can be posted to the Internet for 2 weeks but you get better pricing when you come to the studio and place your order.

What are your hours?

The studio is open for beach portrait sessions mid May to the end of October. Studio sessions are available all year, subject to availability. Calls are answered and returned weekdays from 9-4 EST. After 4, Amy is usually photographing at the beach until sunset and will return your call the following morning.
