I've know Kevin, the Grandpa of this grand famiy, for a while due to my connection with the Falmouth Art Center. We are both members. He and his wife were celebrating their 50th anniversary and knew it was time to have a big gathering, celebrate and have family portraits taken by a professional. We got together at 7 AM on a Saturday in July. Why so early? Because the light was in the right place that time of day for the background they wanted. The location was right across the street from their home. It's the view they see every day when they are enjoying their summer home on The Cape. We were lucky when a few clouds came out. People don't realize how bright it can be that time of day. I gave them the option of 7 PM but we would have had to change the location due to the lighting conditions. They were game for the early session and it really worked out! We had a great time and they had the whole day ahead of them to be together, go to the beach, and enjoy each other.

2015 feels good. It's time to have my blog look good. My friends at PhotoBiz have set me up. It would be great if they could write one a week and add my portraits too! I want this newer look to rock! I get so busy in the summer, I want to post some of my sessions from last summer so you, the reader, have a good idea of what we can do together at your session.
